There are many things that help bring the Disney magic alive right before people’s eyes — from seeing a princess’s castle right in front of them, or dining in the Beast’s West Wing, or watching fireworks light up the night sky. However, there is one thing that may rank above everything else when it comes to bringing Disney to life, and that is seeing the characters go from on-screen to in person.
When it comes to casting for its characters, Disney has very strict requirements and the auditions can be strenuous, as Disney wants to make sure that they cast just the right person for each role. There are also a ton of roles to cast for, from theme park characters to Disney on Ice characters, and even characters for secret events.
And a secret event is exactly what Disney is casting for right now!
Multiple listings on the Disney Auditions website revealed that Disney is currently casting for numerous roles to fill for a “Special Holiday Event”. Disney has not revealed what that event is, but they have shared more information on the roles that they are looking to fill.
There are two listings and one of them is for live-action characters and one for classic Disney characters that have been a staple for decades. Here is more information from the Disney Auditions website:

Disney Character Look-Alikes:

When it comes to Disney casting for its fully-costumed Disney characters, there is a bit more to the requirements, as the people auditioning need to be a certain height in order to fit into the costume that they need to wear. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, Chip, and Dale all have very specific height requirements, which is why you never see a 6-foot tall Dale at the theme parks.
