The Marvel Cinematic Universe is adding new films at breakneck pace with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in theaters now. As most Marvel fans are speculating where the new Multiverse Saga is going, Marvel Studios has revealed a new poster for the Infinity Saga collection on Disney+.
However, the new design is getting a mixed reaction from fans online because of which Marvel superheroes were included and which Avengers are missing.

The Infinity Saga is the name for the first 23 films in the MCU which began with Marvel Studios’ Iron Man (2008). 20 of these Marvel films are collected under the new banner on Disney+. Notably missing are The Incredible Hulk (2008), Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), which are not available as the rights are held by Universal Pictures and Sony Pictures respectively.
Perhaps that is why Marvel Studios left out Peter Parker AKA Spider-Man (Tom Holland) and Bruce Banner AKA the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) in the new poster. But they are not the only ones that Marvel Studios seems to have mistakenly forgotten to include. If you want a collection that has all the films be sure to check out the Infinity Saga Box Set, which has every film a Marvel fan could want from Phase 1, 2, and 3.

And while there are so many characters it would have been impossible to include them all, Marvel fans on Twitter were quick to point out that Shuri (Letitia Wright) from Black Panther (2018) is featured prominently despite being only a side-character in Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
Purushottam Bhusal shared their opinion on Twitter focusing on how Shuri takes up more space than the first Avenger himself Captain America:
Why does shuri have more screen than your main character, Captain America? God help this poster, It is just stupid.

Steve Rogers AKA Captain America (Chris Evans) is still featured on the poster. However, other fans are lamenting the lack of Scott Lang AKA Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) who appeared in three Marvel films before provided the final clue for Tony Stark AKA Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) to solve time travel in Avengers: Endgame.
Maybe he is just too small for us to see?
Cam shared their tears on Twitter saying:
Ant-Man being left off this poster despite ending up being an integral part of the infinity saga… what’s new

The poster fails to include another of the six original Avengers from The Avengers (2012) by leaving out Clint Barton AKA Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) who will be getting his own Marvel original series on Disney+ on November 24, 2021.
But more obvious is the fact the not a single member of the Guardians of the Galaxy made the cut. There is not an image of Peter Quill AKA Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Groot (Vin Diesel), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), or Drax (Dave Bautista) in sight.
Elliot Duby pointed this out saying “Where the heck are the Guardians of the Galaxy?” with ArthurLCK joking that “Drax is in there he’s just invisible”

Some fans suspect that Shuri’s prominence in the poster is a sign of her future importance. Letitia Wright is currently filming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (July 8, 2022), which will continue without T’Challa AKA Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), who made it onto the poster. Rumors suggest Shuri could become the next Black Panther as she did in Marvel Comics.
But one of those not included was Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) who protected an Infinity Stone – the Time Stone held inside the Eye of Agamotto. Doctor Strange will have a major part to play in the new Marvel Cinematic Multiverse in both Spider-Man: No Way Home (December 17, 2021) and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (March 25, 2022).

Other fans are mad that Carol Danvers AKA Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) is featured as well since she was such a late addition to the Marvel Universe and has been divisive among fans. Rumym8 said:
but they put in shuri who isn’t even a main character in the infinity saga and captain marvel who a majority of marvel fans dislike

The new Infinity Saga poster shows Shuri is available on the mobile version of the Disney+ app, but the banner on other devices includes the same characters as the mobile poster: Natasha Romanoff AKA Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Vision (Paul Bettany), Wanda Maximoff AKA Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet(Josh Brolin), Sam Wilson AKA Falcon (Anthony Mackie), and Thor (Chris Hemsworth). However, Shuri was cut.
