‘Disney On Ice’ to skate through Capital Region – NEWS10 ABC

ALBANY, N.Y. (WWTI) — Fan-favorite Disney characters will be returning to the ice in Albany this winter, and tickets go on sale on Tuesday. Field Entertainment announced on Tuesday that “Disney On Ice presents Into The Magic” will go up at the Times Union Center the weekend of January 14, 2022.
Characters featured in this show will include Mickey and Minnie Mouse and the cast of characters from “Moana,” “Frozen,” “Coco,” “Tangled,” “Cinderella,” and “Beauty and the Beast.” Show dates and times are below:

WATERVLIET, N.Y. (NEWS10) — November 1 marks 14 years since the disappearance of 12-year-old Jaliek Rainwalker. The Washington County boy’s case is considered cold, but Jaliek is one of many other missing people in the Capital Region.
Watervliet artist Ryan Hanley is trying to shine a light on them. He is widely known for his portraits. But his current subjects, or rather their current situation, is unknown. That’s because they are missing.
BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. (NEWS10) — LifeWorks Community Action, a non-profit based in Ballston Spa, has started assembling Thanksgiving baskets for families in need. This year, nearly 700 families have already signed up to receive a basket.
LifeWorks said the baskets are funded by individual donors and assembled by volunteers. Due to the pandemic, the way they assembled baskets changed.
TROUPSBURG, N.Y. (WROC) — Dogs, cats, pigs, rabbits, and a goat were removed from a Troupsburg home, and their owner charged, after an investigation in Steuben County.
According to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office, police were called to the home along County Route 84 on October 25, following a report of malnourished animals at the location. Investigators there found dozens of animals without proper food, water, or shelter.
