What has been the most important leadership lesson you’ve learned during the pandemic?
Patience. Flexibility. The pandemic forced us all to employ those leadership lessons in an expeditious and effective manner.
How do you motivate people during a time of uncertainty?
Reassurance is critical. Providing a listening ear is critical. People must know that you are invested in them as much as you are motivating them.
What are you most excited about in your new role, and what’s your biggest challenge?
I am excited to work with an exceptional team here at C2. My challenge — which is also a joy — is learning the business intricacies and the wonderful city of Louisville quickly.
What is your most significant career achievement?
My most significant career achievement is developing productive working relationships across the globe that will last a lifetime.
How can Louisville nurture its young talent to become future leaders?
Constant communication, teaching, encouragement and opportunity.
